• Was associated with RSS at Lebutala Park as a Swayamsewak for 5 years
• Elected as the General Secretary of City College in 1993 after defeating Lakshmi Dey backed SFI which was ruling the college premises for the last ten years
• Elected as the General Secretary of Chhatra Parishad (Student Union) under the then State President and present MLA, Mr. Tapash Roy, from Central Calcutta. Later, elected as the District President.
• Became a part of Trinamool Chhatra Parishad under the guidance of Mrs. Sonali Guha and started working as the Working President of the State.
• Headed the Anti-Left Student Revolution in Kolkata for many years
• Lead the youth storm into the Well Of the State Legislative Assembly.
• Proved himself as an able administrator, organizer and leader as thousands of young minds were given the political exposure in students gathering

 Involved in various Social Work since the last 20 years  Provided staple food to 1,000 needy people/day in North and Central Kolkata during 4 month time of pandemic  Set up a community kitchen for 500 peoples during the time of Covid 19 for over 45 days  Sanitized over 200 corona affected houses, in person.  Admitted patients in hospitals and catered to the various medical needs of people during the pandemic.  Gifted the people of Kolkata a revamped Durga Puja at Santosh Mitra Square by being the General Secretary of the Puja Committee  United 19 different clubs to form ‘Madhya Kolkata Club Samanway Samiti’ to work for the welfare of the society like Holi utsab, Dog show, Food festival, Bird show.
